
Conditions of Entry
1. General
Entry to ENTECH events is subject to these Terms & Conditions. By registering for or attending ENTECH, you agree to comply with all rules, instructions, and directions issued by the event organiser.
2. Eligibility for Free Entry
Free entry is available exclusively to recognised industry practitioners working in, training for, or directly associated with, the professional audio, lighting, video, staging, broadcast, production, entertainment technology, and related trades.
The organiser reserves the right to:

Request proof of industry status (e.g. business card, company email, LinkedIn profile, ABN/Company registration, or equivalent)

Refuse free entry if trade status cannot be reasonably verified
3. Non-Trade & General Public Entry
ENTECH is a trade-only event. Entry may be refused to members of the general public, hobbyists, students (other than TAFE, College or University enrolled in an industry related study), or those not directly connected to the industry.
Where applicable, the organiser may offer:

4. Registration & Admission

All attendees must register, either online or onsite

Entry badges must be worn and visible at all times

Badges are non-transferable

The organiser reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission without refund if these Terms & Conditions are breached
5. Conduct
Attendees must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. The organiser reserves the right to remove any person whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, unsafe, offensive, inappropriate, or detrimental to the event, without refund or liability.
6. Safety & Compliance

All attendees must comply with venue rules, workplace health & safety requirements, and instructions issued by event staff, venue management, or contractors

Entry may be refused or revoked where safety is compromised

Children 15 or under must be under direct supervision of an adult at all times

ENTECH accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property, except where required by law
7. No Solicitation
ENTECH is a professional trade event. Unauthorised solicitation is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

Distribution of flyers, brochures, samples, or promotional materials

Sales approaches, pitching, or lead-generation activities

Recruitment, canvassing, surveys, or promotional offers
Solicitation is permitted only by registered exhibitors within their contracted exhibition space, or where prior written approval has been granted by the organiser.
Any attendee found engaging in unauthorised solicitation may be asked to cease activity immediately and may be removed from the event without refund or liability.
8. Photography, Filming & Media
By entering the event, attendees consent to:

Photography, audio, and video recording

Use of their image or likeness in ENTECH marketing, promotional, editorial, or archival material, without compensation
Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or filmed should notify the organiser onsite.
9. Intellectual Property
All event content, branding, signage, and materials are the property of ENTECH or its licensors. Recording, reproduction, or distribution of event content for commercial purposes without prior written permission is prohibited.
10. Changes & Cancellation
The organiser reserves the right to:

Amend event details, schedules, speakers, exhibitors, or venues

Modify these Terms & Conditions at any time

Cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control
11. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration and attendance will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and used for event administration and related communications.
12. Final Authority
All decisions by the organiser regarding entry, eligibility, conduct, and compliance with these Terms & Conditions are final.
